Zack Upton

Research Coordinator

My name is Zack Upton and I was born on September 18, 1986.  I was born in Lexington, Kentucky and have lived there my entire life.  I graduated from Lafayette High School where I played baseball and basketball.  I love sports and going to the lake in my free time.  I also like to go new places and fly whenever I can.

I am here at Kennesaw on a baseball scholarship and I am majoring in Sports Management.  I am currently a sophomore and plan on graduating on time.  I also plan on attending law school after graduating.  I want to become a lawyer and either practice estate law or become a sports agent.  If the law path doesn’t work out I want to join the Air Force and be a pilot.

My role on the team is the research coordinator.  My job is to go and find credible websites so that my group members can find good information on our topic.  For this task, I went and did advanced searches to find sites that would have pertinent information that all of my group members could use.

I chose my role because I feel that I am good at finding things on the internet.  I am also in charge of creating our reference page to put in our report.  I have to make sure all of the sources are cited correctly and in the proper format.  I also like doing research and learning new things so I thought this was the perfect role for me.
