Personal Biography: For this semester - Write a personal statement about your goals and aspirations In the words of Lauryn Hill, "Sometimes we'll touch that dream, but things come slow or not at all, and the ones on top won't make it stop, so convinced that they might fall, let's love ourselves then we can't fail, to make a better situation." I have learned to be patient and work diligently for what I desire, but success does not happen overnight. Even when I fall short of what I aspired to accomplish I must keep striving. I am a very goal oriented individual. When I plan to do something I will execute it to the fullest extent. I am also a very hard working individual. I always maintain at least two jobs at all times. I believe that my work ethic and positivism encourages my family members and friends to work hard and know that dreams can come true if they have the motivation and drive to make it happen. If ever I am unsatisfied with anything in my life then I can change it and make a difference. I will never settle for good enough. It is my belief that I can appreciate the positive experiences and survive and learn from the negative ones. I tend to follow the notion that when people work together and uplift and encourage one another then success is inevitable. I am a leader and I take advantage of all my opportunities, and I aspire to achieve my goals and to reap success. In reference to this semester I have worked towards following directions in a more precise manner and to be truly committed to my studies. I think I have spent more time this semester than any other reading and studying academic material. Professional Biography: Write a summary of your professional skills; include skills that make you attractive to a project work team. In the words of Helen Keller, "I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate." I am a very creative and extroverted person. I think for myself and form my own opinions. My experience in customer service for the last four years has taught me a lot about how to interact and get along with others. At all times I had to be friendly, assertive, and professional. My various occupations have showed me how to be an effective team member. As a team member I always do more than my share and to the best of my ability not only for my own benefit but because other peoples' grades are involved as well. Work Breakdown: Describe all of the steps you took to complete this assignment. I first changed the title to reference this current semester and year. Then I inserted my name. Afterwards I included a logo. I chose to put up a flower because my name is Native American and it means flower. Winter is my favorite season, so I chose this particular flower because it blooms during the Winter season. Then I changed the font style and background color. Afterwards I uploaded my photo and changed the font styles to Georgia, borders, and sizes to customize the page. Then I went on to add my external links and type my personal and professional biography. I did all of this by using html code. I looked up codes on www.quackit.com and www.webmonkey.com
