Valerie P. Jacobs
My name is Valerie Jacobs
and I am a 22 year old senior majoring in Accounting at Kennesaw State
University. This is my second year
of education at the University and prior to that I was a Nursing student at
North Carolina A&T State University for three years. Although both majors are a world apart,
I prefer Accounting because of the structure of it. Attending school full time and taking
the maximum coarse load is something that I have opted to do in order to speed
up the process of my graduation.
Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, which will be the summer of
2006, I plan on attending a local University in the city to obtain my MBA. In the very near future, I have the
hopes of becoming a CPA and maybe starting my own Accounting
firm.
Family and friends are an important aspect of life
to me. In my spare time, I enjoy
spending time with those family members that are closest to me, visiting friends
that I have acquired over the years and volunteering my time to those in
need. I truly believe that I am on
my way to achieving my long-term goals and everything that has been planned out
for my life.
