My name is Uraina (pronounced Reyna), Moved out here from Houston, Texas earlier this year after I got married, and this is my first semester at KSU. I’m double majoring in Business and Finance and with a minor in marketing. This semester has been pretty interesting, I spend about five days a week at school and I’m taking sixteen credit hours. This year, my life has changed drastically and I’m finally starting to get used to everything now. I really believe in the phrases “treat others the way you want to be treated” and “There are two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group; there is much less competition.”-Mahatma Gandhi I like to do just about anything to have a good time! I love shopping, buying random things, spending time w/the hubby, family, & friends, laughing, going out to eat, lounging around, decorating, going back to Houston, going out, traveling and sightseeing, dancing, talking, watching TV or movies, surprisingly I like cooking now (sometimes), bowling and playing pool even though I still suck at both still but getting better, attempting to work out, reading sometimes, and watching my baby nephew grow up. My role in my team The RFID unit is the formal report writer. However, instead of writing the whole report myself, we split it up into sections within the group. I enjoy working with the team members in my group; they’ve really defined group work as actually working together and not just individually. I believe our team has done a great job so far in our previous assignments, and will hopefully do even better achieving what needs to be done in the upcoming assignments! I was the one who came up with our new team name and logo and also turned us from four members to five. So far, I’ve helped research things, have made it to all our meetings, put together the whole report after we did our individual sections, and have somewhat been of assistance to our web master in designing our team webpage. I’ve also tried my best at solving any issue or problems our team has come across. |
