Podcasting Used As a Business Marketing Tool. Bryan Padgett

Personal Biography: My name is Taylor Petersen and I am currently in my sophomore year of college. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York, and I moved to Atlanta in fifth grade. I transferred to Kennesaw State University from Armstrong Atlantic State University in the spring of 2007. By next fall, I plan on moving to New York to attend school in the city. I want to have a double major in Marketing and Advertising, and one-day work at a major advertising agency in Manhattan. Throughout the course of BISM 2100, I have learned a number of valuable skills, all of which will greatly assist me in my professional career, as I will be using these techniques on a regular basis.
Professional Biography: I am a natural leader and I am very confident. I have no problem taking charge of a situation, but I can also be a listener and take instruction. I like speaking and giving presentations which is a major reason why I chose my career path. I work very well under pressure, and I will never miss a deadline. I am a total people person, and I love interacting with everyone. My first job was at a store, which had just opened, so from the beginning I learned key skills, and got to see first hand what goes into all aspects of the business world. The techniques I learned ranged from being able to operate the Point of Sales system, and creating promotional plans, to customer service. Both my business and school worlds have enabled me to learn and experience important abilities, which I will continuously use throughout my life.
Work Breakdown: The first step in creating this web page was saving the page as "index" in a text file. After this was done, changes in the codes could be made. I first changed all titles and headings. I changed the existing headings to new ones which were "Podcasting in Business", "Group 8", and "Taylor Petersen". After this was completed, the background color was made to blue using the code "00cccc". Hyperlink colors were changed to navy using the "000066" code. The text appearing on the page was switched from Times New Roman to Comic Sans MS. The previous picture "116.jpg" was replaced with my own picture "taylor2.jpg". Two external links were created using the "a href" code. An internal link was created for the Group Operating Agreement. All of my group members’ names were listed in alphabetical order and external links were created to each of their own, personal pages. A table was created by changing the size from 483.75 pt to 650 pt, and the border size was increased from 0 to 2. Finally, I erased the previous paragraphs and wrote my own into the My Personal Biography, My Professional Biography, and My Work Breakdown sections. To completely finish the web page I published it using SSH Secure File Transfer. The index, my picture, and operating agreement were all uploaded and published with this program.
