Hello all! My name is Sharlene Calloway. I am currently a senior with the intention of graduating Summer of 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems.

I’ve been at Kennesaw State University for the past four years of my life.  It has been a great academic journey for me. I initially started out as a Computer Science major, but noticing how much you sat at a computer by yourself, I realized that perhaps I needed to pursue something a bit more people-oriented. However, I couldn't leave the realm of technology. I adored it too much. Thus, at the beginning of my sophomore year, I changed my major to IS, and it was a great decision.

I’m a multi-faceted student. I love academia and knowledge. I feel that one can never have too much knowledge. On the other hand, I’m a very social person who can be put in a room with any group of people and handle the situation. I guess I’m just a social nerdy butterfly.

Music is my medicine, as it always speaks a new volume in my life. No matter what the problem, there is always a song that relates.

 

Knowledge is my power. While it always answers my questions, it always opens the window to a new one. Thus I will always acquire more.

 

My family is my foundation. There is not a love that is stronger nor is there a trust that is the hardest to break.

 

My friends are my smile. There is not a day that goes by when I am not grateful for  the people who have been put into my life.
