Rachel Ramsey -- Project
Manager

My name is Rachel Ramsey and I am a junior Finance major at Kennesaw State
University. This is my first year at KSU. I transferred from
Georgia Southern University in the fall of 2006. I am planning to
graduate in the summer of 2008. After graduation, I plan to pursue a
career in corporate real estate. After gaining experience in the corporate
world, I hope to go back to school and earn my masters degree in Finance.
I plan to use my masters degree to teach at the University level while I
work on my doctorate. After receiving my doctorate, I plan to continue to
teach.
I am originally from Lawrenceville, Ga and moved to Statesboro, Ga
immediately after graduating from high school. I lived there for
five years before moving to Canton, Ga in the summer of 2006. I
moved to Canton with my husband of ten months, Brad. Brad is a
mechanical engineer I met while attending Georgia Southern
University. Together, we have two dogs; Caesar, a Chihuahua, and
Natty, an American Bulldog.
My role on the team is project manager. The project manager’s job
involves many different aspects of the project. They are responsible
for creating the Operating Agreement, for being the main communicator in
the group, and for helping with all parts of the project. The
project manager takes the lead role on the discussion board and keeps the
group current on due dates and other important information. One of
the most important jobs for the project manager is to be the coordinator
for the group. This includes managing due dates, meeting times,
project progress, and the finished project. The project manager is
ultimately responsible for the project being completed well and by the due
date.
