Renato Salvaleon

I work at Georgia Power Company as a Transmission (GIS) Specialist. I have 17 years of active military service in the Army. I am very proficient in a broad range of Windows applications and have done some Desktop Publishing projects with a Mac. I’ve got a couple of military history coffee table books with my name (as editor) on it. I am a hard-worker and tech-savvy. I can be reached at rps0709@students.kennesaw.edu

Presently, I am a BS GIS major and have completed my GIS Certificate at Kennesaw State University last 2003. At my present work, I provide Application Support to GIS end users, as well as, assist in the conduct of GIS training and writing end user documentation for our GIS applications. A major part of my application support work is writing programs that help automate some the use of GIS .

Team Role – Report Writer/Researcher

My primary role is the lead researcher and report writer. As Researcher, I will be responsible for locating resources and doing researches as information for the group to answer possible solutions to the client’s problems. I will be gathering the necessary materials for the Presentation Technologist and the Web Designer to be able to incorporate into their respective outputs.

As Report writer my main task is to structure all the inputs of the group and the results of the research into a structured formal report.
