I am here today in a attempt to increase my options regarding my career choices.

I spent the last 30 plus years in Telecommunications.
I work in Network Services with Sprint going on 16 years holding Technical and Management positions.
I am currently involved in special projects that require extra attention to detail.
I am proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office and have experience building webpages for tracking and reporting on projects.
2 years in Sacramento California with MCI working Data Support for customer networks.
2 years in a Surveillance / Network Operations center with MCI in Atlanta Georgia.
3 years with Byers Engineering assigned to Engineering, Construction and Inspection on Sprints backbone fiber optic network running from North Carolina to South Florida.
10 years with 2 different Local Exchange Telephone Companies in Georgia involving Engineering, Construction and Central Office Switching.

  1. Wrote basic outline.

  7. Proofread again by another person.
  8. Final draft submitted to team.

Building Web Page:

  1. Opened blank .txt file.
  2. Saved .txt file to webpage folder and renamed INDEX.htm.
  3. Opened INDEX.htm in browser to verify changes as they are made.
  4. Built HEAD and BODY sections.
  5. Named Header.
  6. Specified Vlink, Alink and link colors.
  7. Specified background color and gif.
  8. Added title gif.
  9. Built Tables to allow for centering of content.
  10. Built content as described in instructions.
  11. Added Links.
  12. Confirmed page displayed the way it should.

Publishing:

  1. Downloaded the FTP software from the KSU download section.
  2. Copied the htm document, background .gif, picture .jpg and other files to the KSU Server.
  3. Loaded a copy of the Operating Agreement on the server for link.
  4. Pointed my browser to the specified link and verified everything worked.
