Hello. My name is Renee LaBelle and I've been attending Kennesaw State University for too long. I guess I'm one of those people that just can't make up my mind on what I want to do in life. The reason why I'm going to Kennesaw is because, at the time, it was close by. It was also said to be a cheaper school and a small student population. This was in 2001. Since 2001 I have switched my major from accounting to biology, and now to finance, which hasn't been switched yet. I don't really know why I've chosen finance. I suppose it's because I'm good with numbers. I know I'd like to get a good paying job after I graduate as well.
I graduated high school in 1997 from Regina. That's a high school in Harper Woods, Michigan, which is right outside of east Detroit. Regina was an all girls catholic school where all the girls wore plaid skirts and saddle shoes. There weren't any computer classes there and the closest we came to it was our typing class on electric type writers. The school didn't have a very big budget. The curriculum was great though. I was in the science club there and also played varsity basketball for four years. I made all catholic league 4 years in a row and all state 1 year. I was supposed to play basket ball for college, but I was burnt out by the time a was a senior. By that time, I had played year round for twelve years of my life.
In five years I expect to see myself with a diploma. I will hopefully be in the same house that my husband and I just purchased. It's a great little house in Clarkston, Ga. It's right outside Decatur, which is one of my favorite places. I'd like to think about having kids at this time, since hopefully my husband, Aaron and I would have traveled to extensive places. I hope to have a beautiful garden and possibly have a catering business on the roll.
