Personal Biography:

I am into my third year here at KSU and majoring in accounting. This semester has been challenging, but at the same time I have learned alot. My Excel and Powerpoint skills have improved immensely due to the constant practice performed in and outside of class. My goals for the semester are clearly to get good grades, but also learn what the 'business world' holds and how it works. Right now in BISM 2100, we are in groups putting a presentation together. I am the Formal Report Coordinator with jobs ranging from being organized for team meetings to building websites. I am researching the History of Podcasting and currently have links on the left for further reading.

Professional Biography:

I have been working at Mellow Mushroom for the past 7 years. I was promoted to manager 4 years ago before I went to college. I am currently general manager at the Woodstock location on Towne Lake Parkway. I believe I bring alot to this team. While all of my members show signs of intelligence and work ethic, I am organized, a team player, and a great problem solver. I work well with others and believe in team work. My team, COMPTECH, will strive together to complete this assignment on Podcasting.

Work Breakdown:

At the start, Professor Mayani show the class how to use SSH Secure File Transfer and how to upload an image for the website. Once the class got the gist of the things, we worked as a team to put this site together. We shared ideas, knowledge of coding in html format, and designs schemes. After the main idea and design was layed out, we opened the 'index' on notepad. To access this, you right click on the website and click the tab 'view source'. Once you are in notepad, you are free to make changes to the font color, style, insert images, and edit text. These changes need to be saved and uploaded onto the file transfer program. To make sure our websites will be viewed by the public, we had to change our host names to our Net ID. Ernesto Taylor and Ryan Yi worked together to design a banner and links at the bottom. All members inserted their own picture and biography information. Once the site was completed, I uploaded the most recent 'index' file on SSH file transfer so it could be viewed on the web.
