My name is Nyasia Ebanks and I am originally from New York City.  My Mom and I moved to Georgia about ten years ago for a change and a better environment to live in.  I attended Hart County High School and graduated one year early as as a Honor Graduate. This is my third year attending Kennesaw State University (KSU), and so far my experience here has been great.  My major is Business Finance and I hope to graduate in Dec 2008.

In my spare time I like to shop, spend time with my family and friends, and have fun. My favorite restaurant is the Olive Garden. One of my interests are meeting and talking to people, in order to learn of their life experiences.  I also enjoy helping  others by providing advice on issues in which I've had prior experiences.

I currently work at BlueLinx Corporation, which is the largest building supply distributor in America.  I am an Indirect Sourcing Assistant and a couple of my duties include  administering our company cell phone and car portfolio's.  I also administer our mail service accounts.  As part of my duties, I provide reports using Excel that show how much we've paid a vendor year to date, accruals for the month, etc.  I also maintain a database in Access to help keep track of company cell phones that are issued to our employees.   Another part of my duties include preparing informative  presentations to present to Executives showing the status of our indirect sourcing  initiatives.

In order to stay on top of my job, I do a great deal of multitasking.  I have no room at all for procrastination. I am proficient in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access, because with out these skills I wouldn't be able to complete many of my daily activities.  I am always sure to manage my process and ensure that I complete all projects as assigned.  I always take full responsibility for all of my duties and always try to give 110%.
