About Me

Never stop dreamin’ cuz when you stop dreamin’ it’s time to die.

-Blind Melon

I’m from Helen, GA a small German town in northeast GA and moved to Kennesaw, GA shortly after my high school graduation to begin my undergraduate studies in Marketing at Kennesaw State University.  Starting in Fall 2005 and graduating May 2009, I took 15 hours a semester, worked part time, and maintained dean’s list status throughout college to ensure graduation in exactly 4 years.

Aside from school, I have several hobbies.  Instead of perfecting any of the hobbies, my goal is to dip into everything to become more well-rounded in all.  My favorites are scuba diving, guitar, pottery, any and all arts and crafts (sewing, crochet, clay, paint, etc…).  I’ve found that the more creative you are, the more you save during Christmas!  Haha.  I plan to get my scuba diving dive masters soon.  With the dive masters, I will either strive for a part time hobby career in the field, or just have it for fun.  I haven’t decided yet.

I am a huge fan of any and all kinds of music.  Mainly rock, folk, blues, some jazz, R&B...well everything really!  I believe music makes the world go round—it keeps me sane :)  My mom has played all kinds of instruments since I can remember, and I have finally decided to pick up the guitar myself.

I love to read.  Any kind of book that lets me dream a little is good with me.  I also love autobiographies and personality assessment books.  Learning about people has always been an interest of mine.

My degree in Marketing spans from my love of creativity and my love of understanding why people do the things they do.  Marketing to me is essentially the act of psychology to make a sale.  Brilliant!  I love brainstorming with a team and sharing ideas to eventually reach the best idea possible.  Keeping an open mind is the most important aspect with any team venture, and I believe that when your mind is open to new ideas, your ability to grow as a person and as a company increases.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with a company that holds the same interests as me—growth, commitment, teamwork, and most importantly, the understanding of what people want.  I want to learn from my company just as much as they want to learn from me—without mutual benefits the relationship is lost.

Text Box: “You just have to decide if you’re a Tigger or and Eeyore. I think I’m clear where I stand on the great Tigger/Eeyore debate. Never lose the childlike wonder. It’s just too important. It’s what drives us. Help others.”
