
Role as the Formal Report Writer
My role in the Ebiz-Whiz group is the formal report writer. As the
writer, I will gather and organize all of the information submitted to
me by the Lead Researcher. I will then transmit that into a structured
report detailing the database application, ACT! 2005. I will have
to use my time management and writing skills in order to complete the report.
Input from each team member is an important component for each task and
I am always willing to hear any ideas that may enhance the paper.
The parts of a formal business are as follows: Cover, Title Page, Letter
of Authorization, Letter of Transmittal, Table of Contents, List of Illustrations,
Summary, Abstract, Executive Brief, Introduction, Background and Problem,
Scope of the Report, Limitations of the Report, Sources and Methods of
Data Collection, Organization, Body, Conclusion and Recommendations, Appendices,
and a Works Cited page. The format will include heading followed
by their respective paragraphs. Since the report will be written
objectively, the style will be impersonal.
