Personal Biography

I have many goals I plan on reaching in the future. One of my main goals and aspirations is to live a healthy and successful life. I am a junior in college at the moment, but plan on graduating in the next couple years with a big career lined up for me after college. I am a Sports Management/Marketing major and would love to pursue a career along those lines.

I have many unique skills: basic learning, reading, writing, listening, speaking, math, and computer skills. I work well with others and like taking leadership roles. There’s no “I” in TEAM and that is what I like live by. I like to work out problems and make sure they are solved before I move on to the next thing, and I am a very responsible person who possesses high self esteem.

Professional Biography

When it comes to communicating, you can count on me. I think communication skills are very important in the work and school environment, as well as on a day-to-day basis. Communication skills, expressive skills, listening skills and skills for managing the overall process of communication are ones I believe possess.

I think it is important to apply yourself in anything you do. My application skills vary from computer application skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to business and marketing skills. Having been a tennis and swim coach, I possess various leadership skills because I feel it is important to be a good role model and take that extra step to take the lead.

WORK BREAKDOWN

1. I followed all of the directions on the WEBPAGE PROJECT Instructions (Steps 1-7) and the FTP instructions from the Learning Modules.
2. I changed the title to BISM FALL 2007 and typed in my name where it was necessary. Then, I searched for the font HTML code using Ctrl+F to find and replace all the Times New Roman font with Tahoma.
3. I searched for the table code using Ctrl+F and changed the border width and color to Black.
4. I changed the color of the links by finding and replacing maroon with DeepPink, and changing the color code to just DeepPink.
5. I searched the links with Ctrl+F and deleted them. Then, I replaced them with my new web site links (WebCT and The Special Olympics).

6. I created my resume in a Word Document and ran it through the FTP, following the instructions that were given. Then I placed the hyperlink on the website using the hyperlink HTML.
7. I uploaded my pictures by uploading them first to the Kennesaw server through FTP and then I inserted the file name where Professor Leeds picture originally was.
8. For the table, I searched for the table HTML code with Ctrl+F and simply just changed the background color to LightPink and I made the border stand out by making it bold.

9. I deleted what was written under the Personal and Professional Biographies and wrote a little about myself.
10. Once I finished steps 1-7, I published my website.
