My first project is getting my private pilot's license in 1996. It took a lot of hard work and dedication but I
set a goal and reached it.
I enjoy flying over the North Georgia Mountains. It is getting very expensive to fly so I don't do it as much as I used to. Here we are just taking off from Cobb McCullom airport in February 2005. There are three friends in the plane with me. ![]()
Here are two of them. The third is taking the pictures. One guy doesn't look too scared. The other guy is
hiding behind his shades. He's not scared. He always looks like that. No one in the plane had ever been up with me before.

Here is a picture of the Alatoona Dam. Below the dam is the Etowah River and Cooper Furnace
Day Use area. It was a perfect day for aerial photos.

Here we are on final approach to Cobb McCullom. You can see the gravel pit on the right. Most people
can't believe how deep it is. We had a good smooth landing and a good time was had by all. | When I retire, I plan to build my own airplane and fly it all over the country. |
| My second project is learning to play the drums. I've been taking lessons for about a year. I'm getting pretty good but I still have trouble with "fills". I'm getting ready to start my lessons again just as soon as school breaks for the Summer. | ![]() |
| My third project is an ongoing work in progress. Keeping a house and yard in shape is a constant project that I have enjoyed for many years. See that garage door? I put it up by my self July 5th, 2003. Took me seven hours. It still goes up and down. Yea, I guess I'm pretty handy. | ![]() |
