Podcasting

This one word can easily be recognized by a majority of the population in the United States, and by this point, a majority of the world.  Podcasting may not even be understood by quite a few of the people who would say they recognize the term, but this is not the point; the point at hand is the fact that podcasting is launching into our mainstream at a fast pace that makes it seem like an overnight phenomenon.

Our team recognizes this booming form of adapting information in a form that is so easily available to almost anyone.  If someone is unfamiliar with podcasting, it may seem like an uphill battle in order to understand, let alone create a podcast for their own personal use.  The fact is, though, that it is not as complicated as most seem to perceive it to be.  In our modern world of technological advances, podcasting is a very easy concept to grasp and use if given the proper tools and training.

With every form of technology—whether it be the newest and greatest technology or the technology from a past generation—there are environmental precautions that must be recognized.  When it comes to podcasting, the most recognizable form of listening to a podcast is through an mp3 device called the iPod.  Though the iPod seems almost universal by this point in time, there are still many different ways to listen to podcasts.  The important thing to remember is that there are environmental precautions with these devices that need to be recognized by everyone that is willing to use them.

Overcoming such environmental issues with podcasting can be done easily with the right instructions, but advancing podcasting in order to generate successful business seems to be one of the positive outcomes for podcasting.  Since podcasting is only getting ever more popular in modern society, it is only appropriate that businesses start to use this form of technology to their advantage.  Why not use such a popular form of communication in order to generate more revenue or to support a non-profit organization?  Businesses around the world can benefit greatly from podcasting if used properly and strategically.

Though business is always a subject that will help boost such a technology as podcasting to the next tier in the technological ladder, there is still another subject that can help do the exact same push for podcasting.  The subject at hand is the advancement of education.  Education is vital to everyone, and podcasting may eventually become a standard tool used by educational institutes around the world.  It is already starting to make its footprint in higher education purposes, but there are still some skeptic educators that may or may not disagree with such a form of education.

Fantastic 5 can easily see that this boom in podcasting is having an effect in our modern world surrounded by new waves of technological outbursts.  We—as a team—are proposing a formal report that will cover all aspects of podcasting.  Such subjects include the history of podcasting, podcasting technology, environmental issues arising from podcasting, podcasting in business, and podcasting in education.  With all the research and collection of data that our team gathers, we will produce a recommendation that will help decide if podcasting should or should not be adapted into modern technologies.
