Here at Purple Cobras, Inc., we are dedicated to producing the best movies on Earth! Our goal is to raise the bar in movie production techniques by using the highest quality technology and completely up to date software. To accomplish this the Purple Cobras use Microsoft Exchange to communicate with our cast members, producers, designers, and all the other crew members on board. Because email based communication is the most common way that businesses keep in touch with their employees, we have chosen Exchange simply because it is the best and most widely used collaborative server. Exchange uses other Microsoft applications to provide the most dependable interactive communication. It was designed to meet the necessities of small and large corporations. With this in mind, it was easy for the Purple Cobras to chose what system to use.
Microsoft Exchange has many benefits. It allows Purple Cobra's employees to access movie information anytime and anywhere. Exchange took less than one hour to install and was running immediately afterward without a fluke. All of our staff was amazed! The price of the program was lower than expected and, it has easily paid itself off in the amount of trouble it has helped us avoid. Exchange even allows us to use our own domain name for email so we can now advertise in whole new ways.
Before Exchange was installed here at Purple Cobras, Inc., we had trouble with hackers breeching our systems and our movies were downloadable before they were even advertised to come out. Our first movie, Purple Cobras Suck, was downloadable from the internet before it was even out in all theatres. This happened multiple times on multiple different servers, until Exchange.
Without our organizational system through Exchange, we had trouble communicating with people across the country. If we had to shoot somewhere, like in another state, the next day, sometimes, the people whose land we were renting for the shoot did not even know we were there. One time we had to use an elderly couple's land, and they had no home phone or computer. All they owned was a cell phone. We showed up at their house and they called the police on us because they did not know we were supposed to be their.
Now we can send messages to our land owners, even on their cell phones, and know that they should be aware we are coming. We can send messages to personal computers, pocket pc's, iPods, watches, laptops, XBox, etc. We do not anticipate any more police calls (while on the job anyway).
We are one of the leading movie companies in America today. Exchange has top of the line anti-virus protection, Backup protects us from data loss, and Spam filters keep unnecessary items from distracting employees during business hours. It also keeps the hackers out of our systems. We do not expect any more premature movies to be released.
