BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Georgia and graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School in 2005.  I currently work full time and am also a full time student at Kennesaw State University.  I like keeping busy and am interested in International Business.  I am majoring in Business Management and am hoping to graduate in the next two years.

SEMESTER GOALS

My goal for this semester is to gain a better understanding in basic computer functions which will help me as I enter into the business world.  BISM 2100 is helpful in allowing me to practice these skills, as well as teaching me additional skills that I will eventually need.  I hope that as the semester comes to and end, I will be better prepared for a successful future in the business world.

PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY:

My role in this group is Research Coordinator.  I chose this role because I have substantial experience in this area.  I also enjoy finding credible information and putting it to use.  Being able to research has been an important skill throughout my college career.  I have used it in many classes in addition to BISM 2100.  I am focused and able to separate valid and useful information.

SKILLS

As Research Coordinator, it is important that I am able to locate clear and valid information.  It is also important that I be able to meet deadlines.  I am very organized and able to get work done in a timely manner.  As Research Coordinator, it is also important that I am able to properly cite all sources.

Work Breakdown:

There were multiple steps involved in creating this page.

I first saved the template provided to us in class.  From there I began locating web pages, choosing a picture, and writing my biography and personal information.  Overall, it was not a complicated process, just extremely time consuming.

I used notepad to change the information for my page. This includes all of the text, links to the websites, and group name.

In order to upload my picture to the page, all I did was save the picture to my computer. I then renamed it to the original file name in notepad.  I then opened up SSH (the program used to upload information to the web) and uploaded the picture onto the web.

Uploading the group operating agreement was a bit more complicated, however it followed the same basic process.  I saved the document to my computer and then opened up notepad.  I then properly linked the document to my web page.  Once this was done, I uploaded the document to the web using SSH.
