*Lauren Kanner*

My name is Lauren Kanner, I am 20 years old. I am very into working out and kick boxing. I love to eat sushi. I have a big heart and treat everyone how I would like to be treated. I moved back home in March to take care of my mom who is sick with multiple sclerosis. I have a older brother named Michael, who graduated from Kennesaw with a business degree and recently decided to attend medical school.

I went to George Walton High school in East Cobb. I was a Competition Cheerleader through out high school and played lacrosse. My senior year I quit cheerleading to workout more to pursue my figure competition goal. I received a leadership award for kindness, integrity, and leadership. I also received awards from Who's who nationally for academics and athletics. My Junior year I was featured on MTV's Room Raiders. I was also a featured extra in the movie Dumber and Dumber two.

I chose Kennesaw because my brother graduated from Kennesaw and my parents were both terminally ill. It's also not far from my house in East Cobb. My dad recently passed away in March and my mom is very sick with multiple sclerosis, when my dad died I immediately moved back home from my apartment to take care of her.

I decided to major in Business because its such a broad degree and I was not sure what I wanted to major in. My passion is health and fitness but I wanted to have something to fall back on. I feel like I will be able to use my business degree and still follow my heart with health and fitness.

In five years from now I see my self graduated from college with a career. Hopefully either married, engaged or in a relationship. I hope that within five years my mom will get better and be able to take care of her self a little easier. I will always be around for my mom so I can't personally say where exactly I'll be in five years other than a career.
