About the Creators of the Site…

Laurien Avery just finished her first year of teaching composition at St. Frances Middle School in Roswell, Georgia. She will graduate with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Kennesaw State University on July 30^th, 2007. This coming year she will be teaching 9^th grade English classes at North Paulding High School. Laurien has had a life long passion for literature and hopes to share this love with her students. She is married and is the proud mother of three dogs.

Stacey Gaddis will also graduate from Kennesaw State University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching on July 30^th, 2007. Before pursuing her teaching degree, Stacey worked as a probation officer in Cherokee County for four years. After mostly supervising teenagers her last year at Georgia Probation Management, she realized she wanted to become a teacher. She finished her student teaching at McCleskey Middle School this past year and hopes to secure an English teacher position for the coming school year. She too has had a life long love for reading and writing that she hopes to share with her students.
