BellSouth Long Distance Senior Manager - Switch Planning & Engineering Feb 2002 - Present
  • Responsible for switch resource engineering, and switch capacity managment of the BellSouth Long Distance voice network.
  • Leading multi-million dollar project to convert BSLD's TDM-based switching infrastructure to Nortel Network's next generation soft switch technology and media gateways.
  • Responsible for designing, engineering, and procuring next generation equipment for Bellsouth Technical Assesment Center (BTAC) base-line and interoperability testing. Project managing the BTAC Succession certification program.
  • Responsible for vendor management, switch equipment procurement, and statement of work delivereables.
  • Project managing the overall traffic migration to the new technology while improving QOS and reducing cost.
