Personal Biography:

My name is Kevin Mahncke. I am in my second year at Kennesaw State University. For this semester I wish to get either an A or a B in all of my classes. I especially want to get an A in BISM 2100. I think that these are reasonable goals for many reasons. I have learned a lot of new ways that I can study to achieve my goals since I have been in college. I also have a great work ethic, good time management skills, and the will to succeed in everything that I do. With all of these factors, I don't think that any goal is unreasonable.

Professional Biography:

I have a lot of unique skills that I can bring to my group. Throughout my entire high school career and now my college career, I have been involved with a cross country team. In high school I was one of the best runners on the team and this enabled me to develop good leadership skills. I carried these leadership skills over into my college career at Kennesaw State. In college, I also gained important communication skills when talking not only to my peers but my teachers/superiors as well. I also gained a lot of communication skills while working at Kuehne Nagel, one of the largest logistics companies in the world. I worked here in Atlanta and also in London, England. Throughout all of these experiences, I feel that I have gained the proper professional skills to be an effective member in the group.

Work Breakdown:

There were many steps that needed to be used to complete this webpage. The first thing that I had to do was go to Professor Mayani’s example webpage on WebCT to use as a startup guide. After I pulled up the webpage, I went to view source to pull up the notepad containing all of the webpage codes. Then I used the FIND feature to locate key words in the code that I could then change to the word of my choice. I then moved on to type in the title of my webpage, my name, and the group’s name. After that, I used the FIND feature again to locate Personal Biography, Professional Biography, and Work Breakdown. Under each topic, I wrote a good sized paragraph explaining the required material. Then I found the two examples of links in the code and changed them to the two of my choice. I entered my text in the code and then saved it. I then used the Secure Shell Client program to upload the index, upload the picture of myself, and upload our group's Operating Agreement. Then I worked on getting my other teammates on the page. I went to WebCT and copied the example from the discussion board and then uploaded it into the notepad codes. After this I just touched up the page by adding the team colors and fonts that we as a group decided on. Then I went to the Secure Shell Client Program once again to upload all of the changes.
