Mission Statement Our mission is to have a team committed to excellence that enhances fellow students and team members through thorough research of podcasting and teamwork.
Operating Agreement
1. Purpose -The purpose of our report is to answer the research question: How will Podcasting affect higher education? We will research the question using commercial and academic resources on the internet
2. Decision Making -All decisions will be made by the group as a whole and unanimously -Every team members ideas and comments will be considered in the decision making
3. Team Leader and Structure -Kyle Farrell is the team leader and also the Web Master. The team leader and webmaster will supervise and work with team members to create, edit, and link the final webpage. He is responsible for the correctness of the webpage. -Chris Koutnik is the Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating academic articles, white paper, and corporate researches. -James Bruister is the Digital Video Presentation Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for the final video presentation, filming, editing, and the submission of the video presentation. -Andrew Warren is the Formal Report Coordinator. The Report Coordinator is responsible for outlining the formal report and editing the teams submissions. -Rachel Meier is the Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for setting up all team meetings and overseeing the project as a whole.
4. Meeting Attendance Policy -Any team member is able to call a team meeting that every team member shall attend. If all team members are not available, the meeting will be put off until all team members are able to attend. All team members will arrive on time and prepared with all work necessary.
5. Preparation and Performance -All team members will be adequately prepared and perform their duty with a very high quality of performance. Anything less than extraordinary performance will not be accepted. All team members swear to doing nothing but the best quality in their preparation and performance.
6. Non-performance and Peer Review -Every team member must perform their specific duties correctly and adequately. No team member can not perform and may not withdraw from the team unless there is a serious event that does not allow them to participate. Peer review will be constructive criticism and not include any harsh or demeaning words.
7. Project Requirements - At a minimum, the report will include: 1. Introduction to Podcasting 2. The History of Podcasting 3. Podcasting Technology 4. Environmental Issues 5. Podcasting in Business 6. Podcasting in Education 7. Our Recommendation We will also include our letters, this operating agreement, the rough draft of the report, and the final formal report.
Meeting Schedule November 1st - Assigned team roles and began research on podcasting November 8th – Worked on Team web page and publishing each members page November 13th – Started on the draft of the formal report November 27th- Reviewed formal report and prepared to turn it in.
