Hey everyone, I’m Jennifer Abney, the formal report writer for my company APEX.  I’ve been at Kennesaw for only two years and graduated from Sequoyah High School in 2003.  As of now I am an International Affairs major with no minor and will hopefully graduate in the spring of 2007.  My personal mission statement is to live life with passion!  Take the best of what life offers you and move on because life is too short to dwell on anything negative.

            In ten years I want to have graduated from Berkeley University and received a degree in law.  My degree will specialize in business contracts, so more than likely I will be working for an international company where I can use my law expertise.  My hobbies include reading, working out, shopping, and cooking.  One of my favorite movies is The King and I starring Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner.  I enjoy listening to all kinds of music especially anything with upbeat tempos such as: Latin and Hiphop/R&B.  My major strengths include my will to learn and desire to become the best person I can become.  My major weaknesses include my introverted attitude and not having the courage to speak up at times. 

            My purpose on this team is to write the final report on the information gathered by the lead researcher into a structured paper.  Most importantly, I must utilize the 7 C’s of business writing in order to have a comprehensive and well written final report.  The formal report must be submitted by every member on the team by April 22, 2005 .  My project goal is to have this report completed before the date of submission so that there is time allotted for final revisions and input from the team.  In order to make my goal attainable I must allocate my time effectively throughout the project and create mini deadlines for myself so that I do not get overwhelmed with the task at hand. 

            The main obstacle throughout this project is juggling my time between the APEX project, my other classes, and work.  In order to not become stressed I must manage myself between everything so that my time and energy is used effectively and wisely.  I am going to stay motivated by visualizing the pay off I will receive from the completion of this project.  Once everything is said and done I hope through this project I have learned how to work in a team environment better.  This objective is very important since in the business world we will all be faced with this same challenge.
