Nikola Tesla

This website is dedicated to the world’s most brilliant inventor, physicist and engineer, NIKOLA TESLA

Unbelievable as it may seem, the existence of the modern society so reliant on electricity would not be possible without the mind of one man, Nikola Tesla. The electric power production as we know it today and its transmission and transformation into useful work would not have been possible without his invention of alternating current (AC) in the late 19th century.

Commonly misunderstood and ostracized as mad scientist, Nikola Tesla remains one of the greatest forgotten heroes throughout the history of science. The comfort of our lives and the technology making it possible has its foundations in his work. His name, unfortunately, remains unknown even among scientists.

His discoveries expand almost to the entire field of engineering, from electricity and acoustics, to hydraulics, metallurgy, and geothermy. Nonetheless, his unique character, his eccentric lifestyle, and the secrecy surrounding of some of his work have covered his achievements with myths.

The name of Tesla is often related to bizarre science and secret weapons; however, never intending for his inventions to be used to cause any harm to human beings. He worked for the benefit of mankind and believed that technological progress could eliminate poverty, war and disease. Tesla’s brilliance helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution, changing the world forever.
