Back to Georgia Highway Ends

This major US highway that once extended all the way to California ends in a grand way in Tybee Island, GA.  The end signage was missing when the July 2003 photos were taken, but the 2002 sign.

Eastern Terminus: Tybee Island (Official End of US 80)

The end of US 80 in Tybee Island is the official eastern end of US 80.  The first photo was taken before the route sign disappeared when I was there in July.  The last two photos were taken by me in July 2003.  There was no end signage visable on my trip.  Construction in the third photo is the likely culprit.  Photo credits are below.
