As Georgia's shortest mainline state route (no banner)
at 1.1 miles, this little "Business" route for Temple is definitely well signed
enough. Temple is a very small town between Bremen and Villa Rica.
The odd thing is that many maps do not show that this highway even
exists! Not so: it is alive and well in northern Carroll County. For more on SR 274, click here.
Western Terminus: US 78/SR 8 west of Temple
Old-style route signage marks the western end of the route. More
photos are forthcoming.

Eastern Terminus: US 78/SR 8 east of Temple
This is the first reassurance marker past the east intersection. Note
the Series B numerals in the marker. To explain the two shades of white,
the marker at the bottom has engineer grade sheeting while the top sign has
high-intensity sheeting. The route end was missing when I took this
photo, but the missing signs have been replaced. Those photos will
be forthcoming, but any submissions are welcomed.
