Xstream
Productions is proud to inform you on the state of the art technology of
podcasting. Basically it’s simple:
Podcasting is syndicated feeds of information that are sent to subscribers. There are several ways of podcasting but we
believe that video podcasting is the most effective way to communicate your
information. Video podcasting will
allow you or your company to visualize exactly what it is that you are
conveying. With
the right equipment (digital video camera, internet, computer, and portable
electronic mp4 device) you can have the ability to send and receive video
podcasts. Simply record a video of
what you would like to send and save it on your computer as a MPEG 4, then
create an RSS feed and distribute it to a podcast directory where you would
like to receive the message. |

Warning! Podcasts do have some
negative effects on the environment.
For example, the recent decline of the honey bee population has been associated
with electronic frequencies that are emitted by portable electronic devices
such as those that receive podcasts.
Another environmental issue is the increase of electronic waste that
cannot be recycled because of the high demand for podcasting devices. Caution! Negative social effects are
also rampant. Instead of face to face
instruction employees are often required to download instruction. This leaves little room for human
regard. Some employees are also faced
with lengthy instruction and no ability to ask questions which leaves plenty
of room for error. |

There
are positive effects of podcasting!
First of which is the obvious, saving money. Businesses can benefit by getting the same
message across to their whole workforce with the click of a button by
podcasting. This also will save
printer ink, paper, and lots of man hours. Another positive effect of podcasting is in the school system. Teachers are able to send recorded lessons to students that can replay what they need to learn as many times as they need to do so. Students are also becoming quite proficient with computers and software because of this recent trend, which is fundamental for their electronic futures. |
