               Presentation Coordinator

Biographical Information:

  On March 18, 1987 I was born in Seattle, Washington. I only lived there for a few months though before my family and I were moved several times including to Georgia, Brazil, California, and then back eventually back to Georgia where we have been currently living for the past ten years. While living here in Marietta, Georgia I became very active in sports including swimming and tennis. I have been participating in both sports since the age of eight and played throughout all middle school and high school.

   I am currently a sophomore at Kennesaw State University Coles College of Business. I hope to graduate in the next two years with a bachelors degree in Marketing.  My ultimate goal is to attain a job within the Sports Industry. To full fill my goal of working in the Sports Industry, I have currently taken a job with the Atlanta Braves, where I am a part of the ticket sales and event team.  I help coordinate all the Pre-game events, as well as greet and assist the fans around Turner Field Stadium; I survey the fans in order to collect sales data, and help manage the ticket lines and kiosks. Along with my job with the Braves I have held several positions where I have had to deal with the public. Through these jobs I have been able to attain strong customer service skills, exceptional time management, and organizational skills, as well as outstanding linguistic skills.

Team Role:

As a member of Team Protégé, my main responsibility for this assignment will be to coordinate the presentation.  My task is to decide the approach we are going to take when presenting the data we have researched.  I then need to assign members a role based on their expertise and the areas they have researched.  It is my responsibility to ensure that members know what is expected of them and they each know what they are going to say in our presentation.  I also need to create one power point slide that includes the title of our presentation, name of members, and their role. My overall objective is to create a presentation that is clear, concise, and persuasive.

My next responsibility is to over see the entire project. I will be helping in all aspects of the research, web page, and preparing the formal report. It will be my duty to ensure that members remain on task and that each of our dead lines is met. I will also help coordinate when we meet and what all needs to be done.  My ultimate goal will be to keep our group organized and complete the report in a timely fashion.
