No, it's definately not easy to be the man of steel, but that is exactly what Tom Welling potrays, Superman. Smallville tries to explore the life of the young Clark Kent, who slowly learns to cope with his extraordinary stregnth and powers. He was found as a small child by Martha and Johnathan Kent and now lives on a farm in Kansas with a very humble background. Through Smallville we get to witness the making of a hero.
