I was born in Norfolk, Massachusetts, in 1983.  When I was three my family moved to Minnesota where I spent the next eleven years in a small town enjoying real winters.  By 1997, I moved to Powder Springs, Georgia which remains my current residence.  I attended McEachern High School and participated in extracurricular activities such as ROTC, and Rifle Team.  My junior year of high school I went to live with a friend in Wausau, Wisconsin.  Much of that year was spent gaining work experience on a small farm.  For my senior year I returned to McEachern and graduated in 2002.

My college experience began at The Georgia Institute of Technology.  I started as a hopeful computer science major.  After two years of endless computer programming and calculus I decided GA Tech was not for me.  Next, I focused on a new job working at Hughes Maintenance Supply.  After the summer was over I felt it was necessary to return to school and finally earn a degree.  I am currently in my first semester at Kennesaw University as an economics major.

My primary role in DT consulting is the Presentation Technologist. However, I did regularly attend group meetings and added my opinion in other aspects of the project.  It was expected of each member to monitor the group's progress in all things related to the individual's field of expertise.  As such, I was required to make reservations with the Presentation Technology Department for our group to obtain a video camcorder and tripod.  Also, time in the digital video room needed to be reserved.

The video presentation editing process went smoothly by simply following directions and planning ahead.  Prior to recording the presentation, the blank tape needed to be black-striped in order to establish a continuous time code.  The tape had to be reviewed before visiting the DV room in order to save on editing time.  The beginning and end times for the best take of each member were recorded during the review.  Also, power point slides needed to be converted to JPEGs before the lab.  During editing, the film was imported, cut, and transitions, titles, and credits were added.  The final copy was shared with QuickTime and burned to a disc.
