Artisans’ Studios were established in April, 2007. Till that time there was not any attempt on introducing and protecting our traditional Turkish handcrafts in Golcuk area. Thus, we came to a conclusion that these studios are entailment. We are continuing our works, to present some samples from traditional Turkish handcrafts to the people living in and around Golcuk; to enable different artisans to come to the city; to meet the needs of the public bodies and enterprises in the area on buying souvenirs and as a result of this attempt to raise awareness on giving traditional Turkish handcrafts as souvenirs.
