Personal Biography

Amber Kariker is currently a student at Kennesaw State University. She is to obtain a B.B.A. in Business Management and plans to graduate in May 2009. The reason she chose this field is because she likes the business world and plans on one day using her talents and traveling the world. Amber has always had a particular interest in learning about different cultures, so it would be her dream to create her own business and in return helping those who are in need.

Amber’s hometown is in Arkansas, but only lived there for three years. Later her family relocated to a small town called Tyrone, Georgia. She now lives close to Kennesaw State University and goes to school full-time. Currently Amber works part-time at World Market as a sales associate. The experience obtained is great; Amber enjoys the opportunity to interact with numerous customers, as well as creating a great work environment with other employees. Amber’s most rewarding job thus far was a Girl Scout Camp counselor. The job required a great deal of responsibility, as well as leading and teaming in activities.

She loves the outdoors including: hiking, volleyball, tennis, and the beach. Her family means a great deal to her and she also has a passion for music. Going to many concerts and playing the piano is of interest to Amber. People describe her as down to earth, but also a bit of a perfectionist. She likes to work at a project until it is perfect, and then relax afterwards and then move on to the next endeavor.
