Autumn Bailey

Hello!

My name is Autumn Bailey.  I am a junior at Kennesaw State University.  I have lived in Georgia for about two years.  I am originally from Chantilly Virginia, where I attended George Mason University for a year and a half.  I moved down to Georgia with my family and boyfriend and really enjoy living here.  I am the oldest of four; I have two brothers and one recently adopted three year old sister from China.

I am currently a psychology major and am especially interested in the field of neuropsychology.  I plan to go on to UGA and get my PhD in neuroscience and behavioral psychology.  I find the following link very interesting.  It is an informative site about the field of neuropsychology:

I attended Broad Run High School where I was very active in the performing arts.  I acted in and directed many school plays.  I also played powder-puff football every year and was undefeated!  I chose to attend KSU because the cost is low and the location is very convenient.  During my time at KSU I am saving as much money as possible for graduate school.

I chose psychology as my major because I have always enjoyed helping others.  I first became interested in psychology when I took an introductory class in high school.  If everything goes as planned, five years from now I see myself finishing up my doctoral degree at UGA and either being engaged or married.

I believe that I am a dedicated student and I am very proud of a particular research proposal that I completed last semester for my research psychology class.  Click on the following link to see what you think:
